Inter Press Service (IPS) is an international news agency, founded in 1964 with the conviction that information can act as an agent of change for overcoming poverty and marginalization.

IPS coverage provides its readers with a tool to better understand the processes related to sustainable development, with an emphasis on the point of view from the countries of the South, so often marginalized in international news flows.
