The Instituto Fabián Calle (Fabián Calle Institute) was incorporated into the official education system by DGE Resolution No. 18-D.E.P.-06 on 27 June, 2006. In September 2018, the authorities of the Institute were modified due to the incorporation of the Institute to the Universidad de Congreso (University of Congress).

The Instituto Fabián Calle works with an effective orientation towards the mass media, and has successfully positioned outstanding professionals in said media through the years. Its teaching staff includes many of the leading media professionals
